Audio Visual gets the recognition it deserves BY GABY PLIELLO The formation of the Video Technicians Club has given the students of the Audio Visual Department the sense of identity they have long deserved. The fact that they were able to participate in school ac- tivities and actually win some of these activities, has given the members a great feeling of responsibility and sort of a family togethernessf' said Mrs. Kathy Gomez, A.V. Club advisor. uThe Video Technicians have acquired a lot of in- formation in this field and should prosper in the future with their knowledge, stated President Warren Lubow, when asked what opportunities are available to A.V. club members. The formation of the club has increased the ef- ficiency of the Audio Visual Department, said Mrs. Gomez, explaining the club's contributions to the school. Young Democrats prepare for their future in politics BY SAMMY DANON Through learning the facts of our political system, many Young Democrats prepared them- selves for a future in the critical world of politics. This club was involved with the local political system. The club members helped politicians with their elections. ln doing this they extended the can- didates ideas to the student body and the local community. Through being involved with local 1 politics, club members expanded their knowledge X about the community while trying to help solve many of the community's problems. yr Young Democrats has really improved this year. j We have built up the membership and participated i in more projects and activities.
