Sorrota launches the year by servicing the community By Marlene Braga Sorrota Service Club launched into the new year with many different and exciting ideas to enhance and better the community. Members, old and new, worked diligently with a readiness to serve those in need. Members participated weekly in the after school house, an organization working with the under-privileged children from project homes. Also, working with the March of Dimes, the Cancer Society, and Variety Children's Hospital, Sorrota continued to work with competence and efficiency. Having helped the Leukemia Society sell tickets to a skating party in late November, members achieved recognition as a result of their hard work. Sorrota has come back strong since last year.
