ETH .W-' :Fi French Honor President Teresa Garcia-Pons sells homemade French bread at Halloween Happenings. ,I Marlene Braga, vice-president of French Honor takes a moment out of her daily routine to stop and think. French Honor gives a party for migrant workers By Marlene Braga Tutoring students, visiting foster homes, and giv- ing a Christmas party for migrant workers were a few of the many activities the French Honor Society participated in. This year we wanted to do more than just tutor students after school. We felt that as an honor society we should try to aid our com- munity in any way we can. That way, we are giving as much of ourselves as possible, stated President Teresa Garcia-Pons. French Honor members, however, had a bit of fun, too. A Christmas party was held in December and several members saw various French' movies such as La Cage Aux Folles and Second Chance. French Honor is a reward for students who have worked hard, com- mented Sponsor Yolanda Kellogg. I.C.C. brings presidents together to solve problems By Gabe Puello This year's president of Inter Club Council was Paula Schwartzman. I feel we accomplished a lot of things. It is also a good chance for the club presi- dents to get together and discuss their problems, said Paula. This year, like many others, l.C.C. sponsored such activities like Club Day and Halloween Hap- penings on October 25. l.C.C. sponsored the Club of the Month contest in which one service club, and one interest club were chosen each month for their outstanding achievements. On October 19, I.C.C. held a Leadership Day for club officers. i'I.eadership Day taught me a lot of things that I wasn't aware of, as a club president, I thought Leadership Day helped me greatly, said Miriam Ortega, president of Civinettes. The Inter Club Council has promoted unity and cooperation among all of Coral Park's clubs and honor societies, stated Ana Dopico, president of National Honor Society. Marlene Braga, Joanne Adirim, Barbara Officers: Paula Schwartzman - President, Joanne Adirim - Tallet participate in coming up with suggestions.
