DECA students learn how to cope in the Business World By Teresa Mykytka DECA, the Distributive Education Clubs of America, is a class and club for selected students participating in the work program. Mr. George Long, the sponsor of DECA, worked along with his students to help them make the right work deci- sions and help them learn about advertising. They studied getting along in group related experiences, and other aspects of the business world. DECA was involved in various activities, such as selling candy and going to the Mayfair Shopping Center for the viewing and studying of advertising displays. DECA held breakfast meetings and they met with other DECA clubs throughout the area. Learning combined with fun is what DECA is all about, said senior Mayda Pena. tm l 4 gi li i 40114 , l class.
