Experience contributes a lot to the success of the Baseball team BY MARlA E. CARDENAS Led by Coach Luis Brande, the junior var- sity baseball team played exceptionally well throughout the season. i'This year's J.V. team was quite talented. We had some great players who knew what they were doing, stated Coach Brande. The leading players on the team were Catcher Juan Ventura, outfielders Racial Sanchez and Ismael Fernandez, and Pitcher Victor Contreras. lt was tough living up to the reputation of the records of the previous teams, but as a result it made us work harder and play our games with 100 percent effort, commented Victor Contreras. Experience contributed greatly to the success of the baseball team. I felt the at- titude and determination that the team showed throughout the year was the key to our winning season, concluded Coach Brande.
