Science Science, as taught today from the context of inquiry should develop curiosity in a student, increase his awareness and expand his outlook. Central stu- dents may select courses in the three major fields of science based on their interests, abilities, tentative goals. Some wish to lay the groundwork for careers in engineering, electronics, the broad spectrum of medicine, research or specific technical or vocational fields. Many Centralites will find their major interests in non-science oriented fields, but science will round out their general education and better prepare them to take up life in a world in which science is play- ing an ever increasing role. Modern facili- ties in our new science wing will permit broader opportunities for individual re- search, and in general, a greater challenge to future students.
