Central Beach 6 The painful warrior famous for light, After a thousand victories, once foil’d, Is from the books of honour razed quite, And all the rest forgot for which he toil’d. Shakespeare Central traveled to Flamingo Stadium in Miami Beach, and was handed a 6—7 defeat. The Rockets scored early in the first quarter when they recovered a Tide fumble deep in Beach territory. Miami Beach scored the winning touchdown with 27 seconds left in the game. This was the first time the Tides had defeated the Rockets. Central had beaten Beach for the past four years, but the Tides revenged the 47—7 thrashing they received last year from Central.

Central 7 Norland 14 Far better is to dare the mighty things, to win glorious triumphs. Theodore Roosevelt The Norland Vikings spoiled Cen- tral’s homecoming with a 14—7 victory. The Vikings scored both of their touchdowns in the first half. The Rockets scored a touchdown in the second half. The game was a gallant effort for the Rockets.
