Louis Untermeyer Central opened the 1968 football season looking the goal by a stubborn Rocket defense. for a revenge against the Bulls of Northwestern. Central went into the locker room at halftime The Rockets appeared impressive in their first after a scoreless first half. Late in the fourth game. Northwestern threatened to score several quarter the Bulls managed to score one touch- times in the first half, but were stopped short of down, and Central refused to yield an extra point.
