VALEDICTORIAN Class of 1960 BONNIE JO HADDEN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil- bert Hadden, resides at 1447 N.W. 96th Street. Bonnie was born in Buffalo, New York and attended Miami Park Elementary School and Horace Mann Junior High School. She led the Class of 1960 with a scholastic average of 3.93. She was winner of the Daughters of the American Revolution Award for Outstanding Citizens and is Treasurer of the Class of 1960. Her favorite subiect in high school was Mathematics and her hobbies are reading and swimming. Bonnie expects to enter the field of business in the future. SALUTATORIAN CHARLES W. ROEDEL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delmer l. Roedel, resides at 22 N.W. 105th Street, Miami Shores. He graduates with the second highest scholastic record of any senior in the class of 1960. He attended Woodhall Private School, .lesup School and Horace Mann Junior High School. His favorite and best subject all through school has been mathematics and he hopes to attend one of the outstanding technical institutions in the country to further his education in electronics. Charles is primarily interest in the future auto- mation progress of our country and wants to go on to design electronic computers, even more complicated than the one which he designed for the 1960 Science Fair Exhibit. He has won the National Danforth Award and first prize in the Electronics Division of the 1960 Science Fair Exhibit. Page Thirty Three
