MCC'S newest club, BRAVES CBroadcasting and Audio- Visual Educational Servicesj, had an active year. Throughout the efforts of its fifteen members and sponsor, Ms. Diane Pohlman, they held car washes and bake sales to earn money to convert the A-V room into a studio. In its second year, the Radio Club recruits its mem- bers from students who want to obtain their ham licenses and help other students with training. Members will listen to trans- missions from around the country and across the conti- nent. The club's main objectives for the year were to build a station for transmission and to attend the Hamfest, a festival tor ham radio buffs. Row 2 - Mr. Jackson Edwards, Pre- sident Homer Tucker, Trea- surer Nestor Lopez. MCC's aviation students travel to George T. Baker School of Aviation daily to study such diverse courses as Power Plant, Air Frame, Qual- ity Control, Welding and Sheet Metal.
