The JV Chiefs were off to a slow start, but it did not take them much time to pick up speed in January as the foot- ball team players who had been involved in football play- offs returned. They Iost strength again toward the end of the season as Cary Owens and Calvin Solomon, season leaders, moved up to the varsity team.
