Front Row 'ony Martinez, Jorge Granda. MCC's Soccer Chiefs completed their season with a record of 4 wins, 7 losses, and 1 tie. The Soccer Chiefs played with one basic team, using very few substitutes. One season highlight was their last game against North Miami. The game went into triple overtime, with a tie score of 1-1, With 5 penalty kicks left, tied up until the kick, North Miami took the lead of 2-1. This was the most exciting game of the season, said Coach Bill Keefe. According to Coach Keefe, the team would not have been complete this season without six outstanding players: Manuel Gallego, Ariel Aurubin, Luis Delahoz, Osvaldo Piloto, Tony Martinez, and Rafael Ramon. This year's Soccer Chiefs were quite young, consist- ing mostly of tenth graders, Considering the age, skill, and effort, the Soccer Chiefs did quite well this year, and are going to be a lot better next year, according to Coach Keele. Row2 -Caprice Lanier, Anita Martin, Danielle Roshinski, Kathy Mounts, Lillie Durham, Debbie Groth. The team finished the season with an exceptional record of 7-1 , losing only to Jackson. The outstanding players for the season, according to Coach Stanhagen, were Captain Barbara Reynolds - with an average of 7.5 points per game, Caprice Lanier, and Kathy Mounts. Kathy Mounts was named as most improved. Elizzabeth Delmonaco runs past an American defender and goes in for the lay-up. L 130 ! Girls Basketball
