Pep Club has reason to cheer Front row: Myra Conyers, Benita Martin, Florence Ioyce, Back row: Barbara Femander, Vivian Tolbert, Donna Hagan, Margret Howard, Ianet McGill, Mariam Howard, Debbie Mazzarese. t What could be more appropriate of MCC than the spirit of the Pep Club? After all, MCC had the most reason to cheer, right? Right! This was a great year for school spirit, and Pep Club was one of the reasons. They practiced hard, even on weekends, to make sure their cheers were right. They met at school when game time appeared and supported the team the best they could. Five minute breaks between cheers pepped them up to continue supporting MCC's winning ways. After all, Chief Pride is what it is all about at Miami Carol City. A ':. 31 .5 i5fe 'i 5 L Q f A tw. The sound of music at MCC Concert Band, or Wind En- semble, consisted of the best musicians from Marching Band, according to Mr. Wayne Hoffman, Band Director. Every year new faces tried out for al- ternate positions. The Concert Band presented several concerts including a Spring Concert in early March. Row 1 - Mr. Wayne Hoffman conducts the Wind Ensemble. Row 2- The Flute section in Stars and Stripes Forever. Giving it all they've got is the French Horn section. Row 3 - Drummers anxiously await their cue. Trum- pet section displays remarkable talent. Row 4 - Wind Ensemble possesses many future musicians. French Horns and Saxophones are only a part of the beautiful Wind Ensemble sound. E 1 Wind Ensemble l 91
