That's unbelievable but true. MCC's Latin Club did what very few have the opportunity or talent to do. Participants will long remember the trophies and the Hee Haw skit. In the spring, they competed in the Dade County Youth Fair and the state contest. Preparing for competition took untold hours, but mem- bers found time to relax. A field trip to the Kapok Tree gave . them a chance to study Roman architecture and enjoy a good l meal. The Latin Club won First Place in District Competi- tion. iln
