Pan American Club excels in first year l..-.-v..... Mvve.,-.. .ne ...uv yicyancv nu :au uuul unyuuul Marina. V , l ' What club has set all kinds of records in its first year? The Pan American Club, of course! Bake sales, dances, parties and a banquet in May were only partof their plans for the-year. To these they added touches of their own, touches that made their first year unique. Hispanic Heritage Week took on new meaning as the club added a li- brary exhibit of Hispanic arts, serenaded individual classes and presented an evening variety show of Hispanic songs, dances and skits. The highlight ofthe week for many MCC students was the generous sampling of Hispanic foods at a com- plimentary brunch hosted by the club. Students had a chance to sam- ple food from many Latin countries, and a good time was had by a1l. In addition, they presented a show for Open House, held an evening production of Christmas around the World and had Manolo Reyes speak to an assembly that filled the au- ditorium. That's quite a year. 72 I Pan American Club i Front row Nelita' Real, Karen Glover, Frank Gallardo, Roberto Mila, Carlos Moreno, lose Pinera, Michele lean.
