Anchor fills sails with service This has been both a fun fil- led and busy year for Anchor. Carwashes, visiting the chil- dren at hospitals, bakesales, selling pump-o-grams, and Easter bunnies made up just a few of this year's activities. And of course no one but An- chor has at male sponsor, and what a male! Parties, the meet- ings and other things we did together has brought us to- gether. But Anchor wasn't all work. How about the tapping Sweethearts at 4:00 A.M., and having breakfast at the Ihop? Oh, and who could forget the annual Anchor Legs Contest. Who was the dude with the sexy legs? Service projects were an important part of the year's activities. They timed debates of NFL, wrapped Christmas packages for Toys for Tots and collected coupons all year for a family with a handicapped son. Parties added to the fun. Introduc- tory parties, a roasting party ,for sweetheart nominees, a yearbook signing party with Key Club and a party for alumnae highlighted the year. Members held bake sales and deco- rated for Homecoming.
