Anchor fills sails with service This has been both a fun fil- led and busy year for Anchor. Carwashes, visiting the chil- dren at hospitals, bakesales, selling pump-o-grams, and Easter bunnies made up just a few of this year's activities. And of course no one but An- chor has at male sponsor, and what a male! Parties, the meet- ings and other things we did together has brought us to- gether. But Anchor wasn't all work. How about the tapping Sweethearts at 4:00 A.M., and having breakfast at the Ihop? Oh, and who could forget the annual Anchor Legs Contest. Who was the dude with the sexy legs? It's a full year for Octagon Lesley Berry, Fred Abad, Cleve Neilsen, Rick Christian, jean Louissaint, Mark Wilson, Ira Alderman, Todd Pryce, Barry Williams, David Eaton. David Eaton - President, Mark Wilson - Vice Pres., Rick Christian - Sec., Cleve Neilsen - Sgt. At Arms, Ira Alderman - Treas. Debbie Duckworth, Susan Bassett, johnny Mae Conyers, Michelle Gib- son, Cheryl Ragin, Lacinda Toms are Octagon Sweethearts. Octagon achieved its goal of becoming a closer brother club, closer than ever before. They did a lot of hard work and had a lot of exciting times along with their sister club, Sub Debs. The year was filled with bake sales and car washes. Members cleaned Cape Florida, had a picnic, sold pizza at basketball games, cleaned the teachers' park- ing lot and had parties, parties, parties, with the great help of their sweethearts. li'CQctagon I 47
