Or- ganized to promote an interest in radio communication, they were a technically oriented social group that took trips to local transmitter sights. Two more clubs serve and plan for future Mu Alpha Theta, honorary society for mathematics, add- ed members as well as numbers in 1975-1976. De- cember's tapping and subsequent in- itiation were high- lights in the year. Members provide tutoring for stu- dents who want it. Middle row- Ms. Abrams, Mark Carter, Michele Serecigni, Liz Ridgeway, Leslie Disch, Marcia Eisenbeis, Betsy Simms, Teresa Blizzard, Sabrina Saldivar, Clara Machado, Odalys Rodriguez. Back row - Nick Esasky, Robert Christiensen, Randy Bush, Terri Palmer, jose Llamas, Connie Hankins, jackie Berry, Pete Sullivan, Ray Helgren, Rolando Martinez, Haydee Nicot. MCC's aviation stu- dents travel to George T. Baker School of Aviation daily to study such diverse courses as Power Plant, Air Frame, Quality Con- trol, Welding and Sheet Metal. In addition to these clas- ses, they participate in Baker's Student Council and VICA and are working on a bicentennial project that involves painting the school's plane red, white and blue.
