With two first and two fourth place awards T in District competition, plus work experi- ence program that really worked, no one could say that MCC's Diversified Coopera- tive Training program students had any- thing but a successful year. As a club, they took first place honors with their name tags and their Bicentennial skit at the District Convention in December. Carlos Couzo won fourth place in Public Speaking, and Jim Correll impressed judges with a fourth place in Sales Demonstrations. On a more local level, members gained experience in a variety of jobs aimed at furthering career interests. They had a chance to earn money while becoming con- tributing citizens. Their Employer-Employee Banquet in May, a highlight of the year, gave them a chance to say Thank you to some of the people who helped them in 1975-76. Officers Karen Farnell, Secretary, Carlos Couzo, President, Debbie Wayman, Treasurer, tTopJ Pam jones, Vice President. 100 ! DCT
