Good bye. . . to the months when a deadline was something distant but approaching, but not anything to worry about until tomorrow. . . to hundreds of pictures scheduled but not taken, taken but not used . . . to the frustrations of writing headlines and meaning- ful copy. . . to the patience, tolerance, worry, hope, and dedica- tion . . . Good-bye to the never-to-be forgotten feeling of accomplishment and to the year spent in anticipation of this memory... As you flip through the pages of this book you'll never stop to consider the time and effort spent to produce it. lt's far from perfect, but we hope to learn from our mistakes.
