To the many journalists of Meyersdale Joint High School, journalism is not a mere frill but a challenge to the creative mind. and a fascinating, intellectual adventure. It was for these students the MJHS chapter of the Quill and Scroll Society was established in 1947. The pur- pose of this organization is to stimulate and reward individual achievement in journalism.
