Librarians May I have a library permit, please? is a request we often make. Meyersdale High has one of the most complete libraries in the County. It is under the guidance of our Teacher-Librarian, Miss Bolden and twenty- eight student librarians who take care of the library while Miss Bolden is conducting her English classes. The duties of the librarians are to check in and sign out books, to keep order and quiet in the library at all times, and to help students find desired books of information for reference work. Four of the librarians have charge of mending the books. Two hundred and nineteen volumes have recently been added, includ- ing a new set of Americana Encyclopedia. Our library offers all kinds of reading from light fiction to the most specialized kind of reference work. An additional service is available on vocations, as well as a fair amount of current source material to be found in the seventeen monthly magazines and in the pamphlet file. We also have a subscription for the junior Liter- ary Guild and for the Wilson Reference Shelf. Second Childhood We can never express, in words alone, our gratitude to Miss Bolden for making our play a great success. We can always express it in years to come by that little word memories Memories of jack Hampton as Doc- tor Relyea, the discoverer of an Elixir of Youthg his sister Auntie, Bettylu Shockeyg Sylvia, his daughter, Lois Ninerg Philip Stanton, his assis- tant, Russell Weimerg General Burbeck, Carl Phaling Concbita, the Gener- al's daughter-in-law, Alysann Bradburn, Mrs. Vivvert, a neighbor, Janie Robertson, Mrs. Henderson, her mother, Patty Conn, Lucille Norton, a neighbor, joan Rosenbergerg fudge Sanderson, Bob Pollock, Sheri jf john- son, Max Barmoyg Deputy Sheriff Stoker, Dick Vitale. 50
