--,, Science Club Take some NACL plus H20 equals water. That's just one of the things the M. H. S. Science Club has practiced. Simple, don't you think? At first only students carrying an A or B average in Science or Biology were eligible for membership. Since then an amendment has been added stating that any student interested in scientific research who presents a worthy project is quali- fied to become a member. As a member of the American Institute of Science and Engineering Clubs of New York any person in the chapter of Meyersdale High School Science Club may attend all science fairs and exhibitions by merely pre- senting his membership. Our aims in conducting this club are as follows: CD to increase our knowledge of science Q21 study the achievements of scientists and experimenters, UD to learn to experiment and to construct scientific exhibits and models, and HD to appre- ciate the importance of science in our lives. During the present school year the Science Club has made a study of polorized light, ozone generators and cosmetics. Each member is required to conduct one program and do some research work for the club. Money making schemes include only dues, the sale of name cards and conf ducting a booth at the P. T. A. Bazaar.
