We have the past behind us. We have the future ahead. It is the purpose of this book to serve as a spotlight to pick out and illuminate the highlights of our school life, and to display them so that the present glow of retrospect may remain, and each time we review it, visions of the varied life at Meyers may return as strongly impressed as today. We, who have prepared this volume, present it to you with the hope that immediate pleasure and an ever lasting interest in our Meyers' High School, may be the result of turning its pages. WN bedication MIAA Iona' 6'relAford During our six years at Meyers you have helped to incul- cate in us the ideals of adults which you prize so highly and which you have always demanded that we possess because you know how greatly we need them in this world today. We can never repay you for the intellectual and social guidance you have given us for which our appreciation is deep and sincere. As a small token of gratitude, we dedicate to you the 1957 Colophon. To our teacher, our counselor, our friend, and our confidante, we want to say, Thanks . From the time we ar- rived at our beloved Meyers as frightened seventh graders until the glorious days of our Senior year, we have benefitted by your motherly concern for our individual growth. You have taken our charcaters and moulded them into the sem- blance of adults, For all your interest and devotion, we thank you, Miss Brelsford Ecard of fducation Seated: fleft to rightl--Mr. Merritt Hughes, Mr. Ioseph De Vizia, Mr. Robert Gloman, President, Dr. Iohn Valenti.
