With her wonderful record in academics she was always on top. MERLE HORNE To be strong is to be happyf' Merle is one of those people who are just plain nice. He has no complaints about life, and finds himself with numerous friends. Our time machine shows positive pictures of a sound future. IANE HOUSER Charms strike the eye and merit wins the soul. Janie is that tall, well dressed gal with the radiant smile. This intelligent gal rates good sports and music tops on her list of pleasures- you are tops too, Ianie. BARBARA HUFF ORD A little body often harbors a great soul. The nicest things come in tiny packages. We have absolute proof in Barb. Small she is in stature, but big in character, with a glowing personality. CHARLES HUGHES Labor conquers all things. Reserved but intelligent is our guy Charles. Quiet determina- tion plus foresight are sure to produce startling results. Need we say more. DANIEL HUGHES Never let the fancy roam, pleasure always is at home. Blond haired, and always ready with some amusing quip, you bet it's Dan. He can generally be found managing some sport team. Entering his father's electrical business in Dan,s hope for the future. May all your sparks shine brightly. IOAN HUNTZINGER She never studied to be fairer than nature made her. Curley locks, happy face, and pert figure, all wrapped up in one sweet package. Ioanie loves the commercial studies and excels in them, naturally. You're one who'll be remembered. MARY IAMES And Zounde sits a maiden, the fairest of the fair. This is Mary to a HT . This tall, attractive londe is known for her beautiful smile and wonderful personality. With her friendly ways, Mary has made many lasting friendships at Meyers. WILLIAM IAMES Wise men say nothing in dangerous times. Silence is the virtue that many people aren,t lucky enough to possess. Bill does, and it's certainly to his advantage. He's nice to all, but in his own quiet way. ANN IAMIESON There is a time of speaking. Quality not quantity counts, that's Ann's belief. This quiet gal might not say much, but when she does you can be sure it's worthwhile listening to. VANCE IOHNSON Silence is golden. Vance, though quiet and reserved, is liked by everyone. Small in stature, but big in heart. THELMA KELLER Generous trust in human kind. Pep, vim, and vigor are Thelma's claims to fame. It,s a rare moment when this happy strutter can be seen without a smile. Your jokes and cheerful disposition have made you a notable of our class. WILLIAM KELLER Then he will talk, how he will talk. Terrific wit topped off with a blonde crew cut, that's Shelb,'. Always ready to crack a joke and usually does as his popularity shows. MARGARET KENNEDY Reputation is but a synonym of popularity. Marge is one of our attractive cheerleaders. Her beautiful violin music is well known to everyone as she participated in both State and District Orchestra Festivals. She possesses a kind heart and dynamic personality which will help her throughout life.
