mm. lltaoel f:JanA Wood As we look back upon the past years we realize how much of a loss to us Mrs. Wood's marriage and move to Binghamton is to mean. A graduate of Mansfield State Teacher's College, and Syracuse University, she has also had additional study at Ithaca College of Music, Cornell, Pennsylvania State University, and Wilkes College. Before becoming a faculty member of Meyer's English Department, she taught music at Guthrie and Hoyt. At Meyers she has served on the Honor Society and Guidance committees among others, has helped develop Scholarship Day, and she arranged and wrote last year's T,V. program which so well portrayed our school. In the W.B.E.A. she has held important committee chairmanships, and was a four year delegate to P.S.E.A. She has given frequent addresses on the status of women and youth conservation before women's groups, P.T.A.'s, Wyoming Valley Women's Club, and others out of town. She is also an official board member of the First Metho- dist Church, and chairman of the Carpenter Memorial Concert Committee. As we say farewell to her as a member of our faculty, we know her time and talents will continue to serve others wherever she may go, Iliff. Wal-1-en grown The absence of Mr. Warren Brown, a member of our faculty, was greatly discernable this year. As physics teacher, Mr. Brown was regarded as a highly educated man by the students. He was a graduate of the Univer- sity of California. His children were Meyers students. He is the possessor of a heroic record in World War I, and his very shy manner and retiring disposition seem hardly understandable when we realize what a force for good he really was. Always a gentleman and always a good sport wherever he was, we know that his students in New Iersey will value his supervision as we did here.
