These presious da s at Meyers High will soon come to an end We'll say farewellyto those we love, to teacher, and to friend. Our colors proud, the blue and gold, may they wave on forever And lead us on to greater heights and be forgotten never. CHORUS Hail all hail to Meyers High and the Class of '54 We'll strive to keep the banner high Of those who've gone before. Words:Carol Phillips, Ioyce Snyder Music: Barbara Donlin FAREWELL SONG Through all our years at Meyers High We little dreamed the time so nigh, When we would leave your friendly halls, Your rooms and your protective walls. Yet now at last the hours arrive, With mem'ries we'll fore'er revive. And as we bid a last farewell To you, in praise our voices swell. CHORUS Meyers, we'll remember you, ' Your proudly waving gold and blue. ' In future years we know our might Will ever flow from your great light., Music: Dorothy Brown Words: Sara Golden ALMA MATER From hall and class thy students come, From fields thy warriors bold. To raise with honor, glory, love, The royal blue and gold. So now to dear old Meyers High We proudly stand and sing, While clear against the azure blue, Thy honored name we fling. CHORUS Loud and long Let us raise the song of glory As th banners of truth Proudly fly. On through life, in our hearts We will cherish Steadfast forever, Meyers High.
