HARRY KEMMERER just a little home boy who minds his own business. Gee, how unusual. Kem's sort or hard to figure out but we know that his are you for real ex- pression certainly means he has a keen sense of humor. IRVING KLEINMAN Irv is the guy with the most teasing personality. He is hardly the type to give anything up without a struggle, so we are pretty sure that he will get a- long. LOIS KNECHT liver vivacious and always cheerful. Lois' sparkling personality has won her a host of friends and brought her the honor of being secretary of our senior class. Our best wishes for a successful secretarial career are yours. ROBERT KNIES Bob is the boy who just loved to putter around in the biology lab. Some day maybe you will be a scientist with white mice, salamanders and all. What do you say, Bob? We say 'isuref' IOSEPH KNORR Casanova Knorr. Yes, you guessed it. joe is a wow with the women. He was one of our head cheerleaders this year and is really a wonderful all-around guy with a superb personality. He has fine acting ability and is just always bub- bling over with excitement. IOSEPHINE KORMAS Have you heard of The Polka King? Well, lo is the feminine equivalent. Her accordian technique can set any foot a tappin'. Sweet-tempered is the adjective that fits her. Her many friends are accounted for in the fact Ihat she doesn't argue. Oh to be like ter! CLEMENTINE KUPSTAS Teenie is just full of clever sayings and witty remarks that keep you laugh- ing all the while you are with her. She is a fun loving girl with a humor all her own. Ask any of her numerous friends. PETER KUTSUP If you are seeking a true friend, an in- dustrious one. a likeable guy, one who never makes any trouble, go no farther. You have found him all rolled into one, Pete. ARTHUR LAROSE Monk has a heart of gold and is friendly with everyone. New friends were acquired during the football season for this handsome lad. llis dark hair and brown eyes have captured many a girl's heart. MELVIN LEBOWITZ This tall, dark-haired lad is Ireb. Ile is an active member of the Rifle Club, and the Kegian Society. His main am- bition is to become an embalmer. With his determination, we know he will suc- ceed. IOSEPH LENAHAN A boy who is whiz with the oil paints and easel, and a wonder on the guitar with that smooth singing wrapping you up in music. Besides being talented, he heads the Stage Crew and holds his own in any dispute. With these char- acteristics we do not see failure in the crystal ball. LEON LEVIN A future Yale candidate is our Leon. A wonderful guy with a superb sense of humor who makes every place he is in a merry one. His brains will get him far in future years. We are wishing you luck, l,eon. BETTY IANE LINDENMUTH Our own Kate Smith. That is B. I. She has quite a numder of talents such as singing, playing the piano and abil- ity in elecution. Naturally, with all this she is a popular gal. Need we say more. ROBERT LINE Wltrw hasn't heard of Liney? flis pop- ularity is shown by the seniors when they elected him class president. IEAN HELMS The class will now come to order. No doubt about what jeanie's going to be- a teacher of course. Her hearty laugh and swell personality will win her the respect of all her students. HAROLD HIRTHLER That handsome blonde boy with the in- fectious grin in Hap.,' He is a com- mercial student, and also quite a hit with the girls. Maybe that rates you the Prcsidc-nt's secretarial job, Hap! We think so. BETTY HONTZ Betty has gone to Meyers only two years but in that time her achievements are countless. She has won the respect and admiration of all. lf you ever need a helping hand just call on Betty. She will never let you down. LOIS HUFFORD l.ois is the girl who hates to pound a typewriter. Someday when you are someone's expert typist you will regret you said that, Lois. We won't regret this. though. You are swell. ROBERT HULLIHAN The nicest things come in small pack- ages. We have proof of that in Hool- ie. Although he has red hair there is not a pleasanter or more easy going guy. His clothes are nifty and he is a favor- ite son of fifty. ELWOOD HUNGARTER Hunky is a great guy on the football field or in the classroom. His huge number of friends have rated him tops. llc is bound for luck a-plenty because of his natural friendliness. RICHARD IAMES Tall, brainy Rich is a wow when he takes a test. Always go to him for a little favor. He will never refuse. Richard is so friendly and nice we just downright like him. SHIRLEY IAMES A little gal with a big laugh and a heart to match. That is Shirl. Lovable, gid- dy and understanding are only a few of the outstanding factors of her personal- ity. just stay as sweet as you are! IOHN IEVIT Blonde, tall, johnny has a mania for sport clothes. He certainly can wear them. His favorite sport is basketball in which he does extremely well. With his quick smile and twinkling eyes mirth and merriness are in his future. IEAN IOHNSTON This kid usually has every place in an uproar with her dry sense of humor. jeanie never cracks a smile when she jokes which make them all the funnier. With her carefree manner and happy- go-lucky outlook on life she is sure to find success. HOWARD IONES Our blond, amiable senior who is a friend of everyone. From all evidences, Howard's hobby seems to be sleeping and eating. When ambition takes its hold, he will definitely become a suc- cessful businessman. ALBERT KAISER Al believes in bachelorship. A little on the quiet side he can still hold his own in a word battle. His skill on the har- monica and being nice to everyone has made him popular with all. THOMAS KASZETA In size and personality Tom is one of our greatest. This fella has a devilish smile and carefree attitude that is en- vied by many of the less fortunate. He will make a wonderful sailor. CHARLES KELLAR Charles is endowed with common sense and is a great joker. Nothing affects him too much. Things just flow by quietly and he sits calmly watching. In other words, he likes to daydream. Don't let them carry you away, Charlie.

SHIRLEY MacDOUGAL Some day when you pick up a national magazine, don't be surprised if it has the byline.-.Shirley MacDougall. Shirl's quite a writer. She also loves to dance. The main topic of her conversation is boys. These ingredients go far in mak- ing up the receipe of a pretty chic gal. KENNETH MANN Ken, a swell kid, with a swell personal- ity is known by all. He loves to dance and you can find him at the Rose Room any Saturday or Sunday night. Good luck in the future, Ken. DORIS MAPPES Quite a little dancer is Dodie. Although Dodie seems quiet she has a great sense of humor. For a true blue friend she is one of the best. Best of luck always. You deserve it. EMILY MAROWSKI It is a pleasure to have Emily's welcome smile around. Everyone is fascinated by her dimples but she claims she does not like them. Sugar and spice and sweet things so nice. That is Emmie. IAMES MARQUETTE Iimmie is a lively guy with a voice like Enzio Pinza. He is happiest when sing- ing or playing his bass fiddle in the band. Someday, without fail, you are sure to hear him on a local radio station or records. One for the Navy, lim. PATRICIA MASON Pat is the life of any party and can ala awys give you that beautiful smile. Be- cause of her easy and carefree nature she has flocks of friends and admirers. Best of luck to you, Pat. BERNARD MASTERSON Bernie, tall, dark and good looking. Give him a Stradivarius and he is lost. Give him a friend and he makes a last- ing friendship. Bernard is a friend not any of us want to give up. EILEEN McDERMOTT Mickdermott is always on the go but never unprepared for anything. She says her acting ability is her only asset but we know she has many more hid- den talents. Whether it is Broadway or College the result will always be success. IOAN McHUGH Ioannie takes a special interest in danc- ing and meeting boys. She spends most of her spare time at the Sugar Bowlf' She dislikes chemistry and homework very much, but can we blame her? IOAN MIDDLETON The center of every crowd, and the life of every party--who else but Ioan. Her invigorating personality, along with be- ing Co-Editor of the Colophon', has made her quite famous along these halls. She will surely make someone a mighty wonderful nurse. IERRIS MILLER This boy is absolutely. positively music- minded. Playing clarinet. saxophone and oboe are not enough. He also sang in the Modern Choir. Nice going in the Festival! You will never strike a blue note with us. PAUL MILLER Paul has a one-track mind running in one direction of football and wrestling. He has certainly set an outstanding rec- ord in both fields which will long be remembered at Meyers. THOMAS MILLER A little pixie who is quite a comedian is Tommy boy. He is quite well known for his corny jokes. His answers in chemistry set everyone thinking. Take him or leave him, he is still Tommy. WARREN MILLER Mickey is full of fun and loves to tease the girls. Mick was the tall hand- some cheerleader with the bushy eye- brows. He has quite a fan club in the seventh grade. Ask him about it, he will be glad to tell you.
