EDITH CORNELL Look for the silver lining is an appro- priate song for Edith. She is always looking on the bright side of things. Not a care in the world except short- hand. She plans to become a secretary and eventually get married. BETTY COULTER Whatever she attempts, she can do, that is our Betty. Small. but cute, she can make anyone laugh. This nice lass in- tends to be a secretary. We know you will succeed. CONNIE CULVERHOUSE Connie is the big hearted girl with the sweet smile. She is very friendly. easy to get along with, and she dislikes quar- rels very much. Her favorite pastime is Canasta. Have fun, Connie. IAMES DARRAGH Who threw the overalls in Mrs. Mur- phy's chowder? Don't tell anyone but it was probably Iimmy. That's Iim. He is always kidding. With your smile and happy-go-lucky manner. you will be sure to go far. ROBERT DAVIES Bob is everyones friend. He has a charming sense of humor. He likes to dance and he also likes girls. His fut- ure is undecided. but watch out for big time results. ILINE DAVIS Pigeon's twinkling personality is highlighted by her good looks. Always avidly interested in whatever she may be doing. Her main interest is dancing. Watch out fellows. she will dance her way into your heart. MORGAN DAVIS A voice like Frank Sinatra's, a personal- ity that would outshine the best, and a rip-roaring sense of humor can be de- scriptive of only one person-- lVlorgie. Success in the future will certainly pre- sent no problem to him. WILLIAM DAVIS This practical jokester is a pretty pop- ular guy around our school. Wherever there is fun, there's Billy. His aptness as a center on the gridiron was definite- ly shown in the past two years. His hobby as you can probably guess is women, WILLIAM DERVIN An angel's voice hidden behind a ready smile proves to be our Bill. He is a swell fellow as any of his friends ieveryonej can testify. In art and music he is exceptionally gifted. Donit overlook the fact that he is handsome, too. PATRICIA DONAHUE A great deal in a small compass is our short, Irish, Pat. Dancing is her main pastime and kibitzing takes up the rest of her time Her enviable disposition will carry her to success. EDWARD DONNELLY A big Irish smile and twinkling eyes is the best description of Eddie. This foot- ball halfback looks adorable in a bonnet and sun suit, especially pink. Wattya' say. Eddie? DONALD DORANG Not much talkum! But a nice guy once you know him. Don seems to make quite a hit with the girls. This we can understand. But, yap a little more, Don, we don't mind. MAUREEN DOSTER Sweetly doing nothing is truly a poetic picture of this sweet and witty made- moiselle. Maureen has no idea what her future holds but we predict that it will be exciting. FLORENCE DUNBAR A new member is Flo. She has become known to us all by ber willingness to help and ability to always have a good time. We are glad you chose us.

ELIZABETH BOND Laugh and the whole world laughs with you. This saying must have been writ- ten just for l.iz . Her jokes are like a tonic, taken to make you feel better. Never lose this quality, I.iz, and you will always have friends. YVONNE BOND lIere is a lass noted for her cheerful smile and attractive blond hair. Looks and laughing are her greatest assets. Whenever a great deal of laughing can be heard you will find Yvonne the cause ol' it. She may turn out to be a great comedienne someday. PATRICIA BORLAND Patty was that cute, blonde majorette with the charming dimples. Her sing- ing ability was shown as a member of the Modern Choir and as an Amateur Night soloist. With a walk all her own and a sweet personality, you might find her any place in the future. NELLIE BORUCH Nellie with the soft voice and gentile ways has given us many worthwhile lessons in patience. Always apprecia- tive and enjoying life to the fullest are two of her virtues we admire. HEATHER BROOKS A lass who is always smiling and has a wonderful sense of humor is our gal Heather. You will never know a dull minute when you are around her. She is Penn State bound and knowing her as we do success is hers. GRACE BURNETT l.et me glide on through a quiet dream. Grace is friendly toward all. Because of her good nature, her desire to please, and her sincere interest in others, she is sure to succeed in her career as a secretary. ANN MARIE BURNS Our quiet, reserved Ann Marie has al- ready shown her ability to make a suc- cess of herself as a private secretary. May you have the best of luck, every bit of which you deserve. IOAN BUTLER This sunbeam just spreads her rays and makes everyone feel warm and happy. She certainly will be able to take her place among men, also set them proper- ly in their places and P. S. make them like it! DELPHINE CARR Del must like school because she says graduation gives her a sinking feeling. After the dreadful event occurs, Del is going in training. Her patients will be reeuperating a long time with such a pretty nurse. AILEEN CASHIN Not a care in the world is the best way to describe Cash. This powerful dy- namo of jokes has a wit all her own that keeps everyone in stitches. Her talent for violin playing is marvelous. See you in the movies, Evelyn. IEANNE CASNER Cas , that girl with all the pep and vitality, is always up to something. Her dancing is simply out of this world and she has a sense of humor not often equaled. Best of luck to you, Ieanne. CARL CAVANAUGH Carl's positions as president of both the M Club and Senior Council prove his popularity and also that he is well- known. To mention his blue eyes and long lashes would just embarrass him, so we wonit. We don't like loosing you, Cav. EUGENE CHISMER Practically all of Eugene's thoughts in- clude girls. The rest of them comprise joking. This can be proven by the fact that there is always a crowd around him. If you ever need a helping hand, just call on Chis. MARTIN COOK Marty's special and expensive hobby is throwing parties. This, along with be- ing a pin boy in a bowling alley, takes up most of his spare time. After leav- ing school he intends to join the Mar- ines.

DOROTHY EVANS My dear, you look charming tonight is a phrase that can be easily applied to Dot. She has a wonderful personality and loves to read. There are some mighty nice things in store for Dot, and we know she will use them to the best of her ability. NORMAN EVANS Tall, masculine Nitney. Quite an athlete is Norman. This was proved by his end position on the football field. He has brains galore, but one of the first to disrupt a class with his funny antics. IOHN RUSSELL EVANS Place: New York, Event: Private art exhibition: Artist: Iohn Russell Evans, better known as Russ. With his talent, dashing smile and flaming red hair, he is sure to be the sport of any fire. BETTY F ANNON Betty is always laughing and she has a swell sense of humor. Her dimples are her greatest asset and skating is her fav- orite hobby. Keep laughing, Betty. You will get along. RUTH FERGUSON Don't measure Fergie's individuality by her size. She is small of stature, but big of heart with the most cheerful grin. Ruth makes a hit with anyone and we know success is right around the corner for her. IEAN FILLISTINE Long, brunette hair, gleaming white teeth, peaches and cream complexion, and sparkling eyes all add up to meke our strutting majorette, Jeannie. Her engagement was first among the senior girls and is an example of her attraction to the opposite sex. EUGENE FINKELSTEIN Do you have a problem? If you do, go to Fink with it. Eugene is a brainy guy. Some of his statements astound his fellow students. Besides being smart, he can make it with jokes anytime. ALICE FRAIL Alice is never without a new flame and who can blame anybody for preferring those pretty brown eyes and wavy hair. She loves to dance and is an interesting conversationalist. Full of fun describes her also. She is always doing some- thing unusual. ESTHER FRANCHI i'The most talkingest girl in town. Someone once wrote this song about Es'. If you don't think it suits her then get to know this minature parrot. Although Es is quite independent, she has swarms of friends. What a gal, most of them are boys! DONALD F REY If you are having a dull time, my advice is to go and see Frey. His wonderful sense of humor has lightened many dull moments. Don's friendly smile was es- pecially attracting during cheerleading this year. Here's luck to a great guy. PHILIP GALLAGHER Shy? Quiet? You would never believe this by the flock of friends Phil has. When you get to know Phil, you will find that this is just a front for a swell guy who is full of fun.
