MCGOWAN CLASS GIFT The Senior Class of 1950 has presented a Speed-Graphic camera to Elmer L, Meyers High School as a token of their appreciation and desire to always be remembered in the en- suing years. It is to be used to aid any person or association which will better the progress of our school, and we hope it will be especially useful in prepar- ing future Colophons. This is to tell you of the deep gratitude and affection which we, the Class of 1950, have for you. As our advisor, you have steered us through all our Senior activities with a capable hand, causing them to be more than suc- cessful. ALFRED AGELOFF Egg is quite a guy on the football field. He showed his wonderful ability both in football and basketball. His pleasing smile and grand personality rate him as one of the best. GUS ALEXION Everything we know about this boy we like. His corny jokes and ever present smile help contribute to his many friends. His plans for the future are loafing and finding an easy way to make money. IAMES BALMER Iim's main ambition is to become a pharmacist. Some of his other interests are basketball and dancing. His radi- ant smile and personality have won lim many friends. These qualities can add up to only one thing-SUCCESS. MARY BANKUS Her life is devoted to mildness. Never a mean look or an unkind word from this amiable girl. VVith these traits, Mary is sure to make good in the secre- tarial field. FLORENCE BARLOW NVatch that foul shot!.Florence is a surc bet on or off the court. Butch loves che 1istry. We understand she is going to Columbia University to take up nurs- ing. Best of luck in surgery, Florence. SAMUEL BAROODY Sam is the big built guy with black cur- ly hair who definitely has his place in any mix-up. His deep voice and odd humor make quite a guy out of this never-to-be forgotten classmate. PAUL BARROUK Chang has a pleasing personality. It seems that he is never without a joke. Paul is a capable member of the stage crew, and a very fine artist from what we have heard and seen. GEORGE BATH Yergie,' is a payer of good things. He likes everyone and everyone likes him. A swell sport with a good sense of hum- or. These traits will help him to go far in whatever career he may choose for the future. CONNIE BECKWITH A friend to all--that is our Connie. As head majorette for two years this tall blonde was an asset to the band. With her pretty smile and gift for attracting males, Connie will go far. IEANETTE BIRD Great souls suffer in silence as does this quiet lass. She is willing to help any- one at any time. Birdie's ambition is to become an efficient secretary. THOMAS BIRD Tom has won fame as that tall, good- looking guy who doesn't care for the op- posite sex. His gift of acting was dis- covered just this year and he has oodles of fans now. RITA BOLCAROVIC Rita is a great one for fun. Whenever she is around you're happy. Her smile radiates friendliness and her good hum- or is contagious. Not to be omitted is her ability in the classroom. Ask any teacher.
