Hope you don't get lonesome, Vic. JEANNE HILDA FRANKEL Horses, dogs, and men , particu- larly the latter, make Jeanne's life anything but dull. May you always find equal enjoyment in everything you do in your life to come. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN lien Franklin-name sounds very familiar. Oh yes, he was a very famous patriot. If Ben does half as well as his namesake, we'll be mighty proud of him. CHARLES JOHN FREDERICK Chas, Charlie, or Chuck-call him what you want, but he still amounts to the same ambitious, good natur- ed boy. His talent shows up in his trumpet playing. Maybe we have a future Spivak. LARRY FR EIIER ICKS Larry is a newcomer here but cer- tainly has accomplished a lot in a short time. He's an assistant editor of the Elmprint, took part in a radio program, and numerous other activities. He likes art, and would like to go to Pratt to study it. DUNALD S'I'EI'HEN FRY This fellow is liable to show up anywhere. Small of stature, but big of heart, he will always help a friend in need. His desire is to be a successful businessman, and we know he will achieve this. K JEAN ANN FIYERTH This attractive miss helped make our football games more appealing to all, as she was a cheerleader. Jean also took part in the Senior lllay. She hopes to go to Wey- lister Secretarial College. After working a while, she intends to get married and lead a happy life. Have fun, Jean. KATHLEEN GALLAGH ER Kathy doesn't have a worry in the world. She is very pretty, takes life easily, and doesn't mind school. Somebody is going to be mighty lucky to have her around as their nurse. MARY ISABEL GALLAGH ER Sweet Rosie O'Grady fits Mary Isabel. As sweet as they come, at- tractive, and intelligent are some of her factors. She was co-editor of the Elmprint, and captain of the girl's basketball team. Some col- lege is gaining an ambitious student. WILLIAM I REIlERIi'Ii GENDER All this guy does is eat and talk chemistry. His favorite subject is chemistry. He likes chemical ex- periments. Now l'll let you in on a surprise. He hopes to be a chem- ist. Seems as if we have another Edison in our midst. JUAN VIRGINIA GIERING Joan is rather quiet and reserved, but leads an active life. She uses her leisure time in eating and go- ing skating, which is her hobby. After school she intends to go to college. It seems Joan's greatest desire is to be married and have a family. You'll be a good mother, Joan. LEUN MAJOR GILBERT C0-editor-in-chief of the Colophon, a fun-maker in the Senior l'lay and Amateur Night, a serious member of both Honor Societies, a pro- spective college professor-what more?

WA LTER CHARLES DEROLF This lad would be quite a playboy if he had a chance. He uses up some of his excess exuberance in the gym, which, he says, is the only good thing about school. That's a pretty strong statement, from such an easygoing fellow. RUTH ESTELLE DEVLIN Ruth, the girl with the golden voice, has a charming personality and is well liked by all. Hobby, musicg ambition, to study music, and wouldn't we be surprised and proud to find her in the Metropolitan some day 'T LEWIS FREDERICK DIXON Lewis always looks a bit sleepy, but really has plenty of ambition. He is active in school activities, and spends his leisure time at his girl's house, and hunting and fishing. He hopes to be an engineer, and we know he'll be a success. ALVIN RAYMOND DUNGEY Dunj has quite a few likes. His favorites are sleeping, Rifie Club, electric shop, and mathematics. In- cidentally, his hobby is playing the radio. His future is going to be planned by Uncle Sam. M A RGARET .I EA N EUR HART Peggy is vice-president of our Com- mercial Club, and likes to type. She's everybody's friend, and loves to visit people. You'd make a good social or office worker. You're well qualified for both. Lots of luck to you! MARY JANE EGGLESTON Mary Jane was one of our golden- voiced girls of the sextet. She's la popular gal and full of fun. She is a welcome member to any circle. Something will be noticeably lack- ing when she is gone. MAXINE E. EPSTINE Poet laureate of the senior class, Mac says she spends her time sleeping and meditating. Quite an athlete, she has gathered laurels for her basketball team, and has brought it to success many times. ANN EVANS Ann is an appropriate name for this lass. She's quiet and sweet to all whom she meets. Sewing's her hobby, and she just adores nice parties. Someday when you're using the telephone you'll hear her voice say What number, please Y GEORGE EVANS George is always busy and never has time for loafing. He earned his football letter this year. This modern Einstein is headed for high places. Nothing can stop you when you want something bad enough. DAVID FINKELSTEIN Athletic ability, all scholastic, and an all-round guy make up this out- standing senior. Fink's quiet at times but soon snaps out of it. He showed his athletic ability on the football field, and he's active in the Ushers Club. He plans to go to the University of Pennsylvania and pre- pare for business. Good luck, Dave. RUTH MARY FISHER Modest, cheerful, and friendly, de- scribe Ruth to a UT . When asked her favorite subject, she answered biology . Likewise, Hbiologyl' was the reply for her most disliked sub- ject, Hmm, could this be possible? DONALD RAY FLUEGEL Here is a fellow who really would put Harry James to shame with his trumpet. He is sometimes forget- ful, he is blushable, and he's not much of a business man, but never- theless he is a very able individual.

MARION TH ERESA GILLIGAN This Irish miss has flying as a hobby. She flies during her leisure hours. lf she didn't have to bother about money she would like to fly around the world. Golly, she is just all up in the air about flying! MARY ELIZABETH GILLIGAN One of the star students of the Latin class is our Mary Elizabeth. Of course, sometimes she uses her trot. Her favorite is lunch. She hopes to go to Seminary, probably to become a secretary. DONALD PHILLII' GLASSER Chief cook and bottle washer, that's our Don. Want an omelette or a cake-just ask him and then try and get it. Baking is his hobby, but what he intends to do with it is beyond us. RUTH AN N GLAWE Always happy! What a world of enthusiasm, fun, and ability she lives in. As a cheerleader, she played an active part in upholding the school spirit during football season. She is destined for high things. ROBERT JEROME GOLDSTEIN Goldie is one of those good things that come in small pack- ages . He's full of fun, intelligent, and has a witty sense of humor. His football letter makes him mighty proud, and it seems that he is women crazy. His red sweater caused quite the commotion. You ought to be a fashion plate. GERALDINE A. GRAHAM Always busy, but still has a friend- ly greeting for all. Geraldine hasn't been with us long, but from what we know of her we're glad she decided to come. Nothing is too much trouble for this lass. FRED ANDREW G R ANDA Fred doesn't care where he works after graduation, but right now has many interests outside. He works with tin and likes to real. His hobby is playing pool, and We all hope that he doesn't land behind the eight ball. MONROE GREEN To hear him talk, you might think he was Udopey over dames , Maybe so, but his actions belie the fact. We are sure he will be equal to anything the future has in store for him. R ITA EDYTH G R EI I Rita's favorite subject is biology, and she has certainly contributed to the class with her collections of butterflies. She's slightly bashful, but her pleasing smile and cheery greeting make us overlook her bash- fulness. IRENE GROSS Quiet and unassuming, this girl is everybody's friend. A useful and satisfying future is our prediction for a truly sweet personality. GERALD SI DNEY Gl l I'ERMAN Jerry, although very quiet, is really fun when one knows him. How about letting more people know you 7 He plays the clarinet and saxaphone. His ambition is to go to college. Hope you get there. JOHN HAMILTON HAINES Ile took time for careful delibera- tion, lie took every precaution, he worked with eternal vigilance, he gave it sober second thought, anil bashfully got all A's.
