lY' - f . ' .-.A GEK JRGE D. CLARK I. l Clarkie is one of ourleadmfyfer- sonalities. His outstanding per- formances in the line of sports have made for lffim a name that will not soon be forgotten. He claims alge- bra is his favorite subject, and his classmates will verify this by his work. He wants to lead a peaceful life and who deserves one more? WILLIAM EARL CLARK Hill's a man of high ambitions. He's aiming for the sky. His desire is none other than to fly around the world. Happy landing and have lots of fun! ALBERTINA CLAUSEN Albertine is small in stature but not in ideas. Her only draw-back is her quietness, but when she turns on her charm-men, beware! A. ESTH ER CONS'I'AN'I'IN E Esther is a girl of spirit, and an appetite. Eating is her favorite pastime. Her biggest asset is her ready three cornered smile. Com- petent as well as attractive, she does efficiently any task assigned her. JOSEPH NI IRMAN CDPLAN Cope isn't heard too much, but just lead him to the piano and you'll hear him in Kalamazoo . That boy can sure play boogie. He loves to listen to records also. Two O'clock Jump is his favorite. May- be we have a second Hogie Car- michael with us-who knows '? DOLURES CURRAN Here's one of our butterflies-fob ever flitting from hither to yon. But there's also the serious side, for in spite of everything, Dolores will stand up and fight for her rights, not that she's pugnacious, merely determined, JANE CURRY A very different case we have now. A quiet girl is our Jane. Never dis- agrees, always congenial. That's the way we like you. Lots of luck, you deserve it. R USSELL DAUBERT Russ doesn't say much but is quite the boy. He plays a trumpet in the band and likes women! Can't say the same for history. He doesn't know what he's going to be, but whatever it is, we hope he's a success. HOWARD DAVIS Small of stature, but strong in brains and might. He made an ex- cellent captain of our wrestling team, and all the girls swooned over him while he was a cheerleader. His friendliness and sincerity are bound to get him to the top. LEONA DAVIS To be or not to be, that is the ques- tion. Lee likes acting but would also like to go in training. The question is, do we have a Florence Nightingale or Katherine Cornell. Whatever she does, she'll be on top. STEWART EDGAR DAVIS Stewart is certainly ambitious. Twenty years from now, he hopes to have a better than average income, an interesting job, and a nice home. That's the life, and we hope you achieve it. JACQUELINE DEI'I'E Aw, gee, Miss Murray, what's this outline 'Ii' Don't Ict us mislead you. Jackie has her ,share of brains: she also does her share of fun mak- ing. Her ambition is to be a typist. Go to it, Jackie , nothing is stop- ping you.

HELEN BETTS Helen is one of the more quiet people of the senior class. neverthe- less, she is far from unimportantg why chemistry class would be life- less without Helen. With her spirit and ambition we know that she will go far and succeed in anything she attempts. L UCETTA LORRAINE BEVAN Everyone knows Luce . Her beau- tiful figure and long, blonde hair help identify her. She is one of our glamourous majorettes. Her mus- ical ability is shown by her singing. She says she's going to get a secre- tarial job, but think she'll do better than that-get the boss! MARION BIRD This quiet miss is always found studying. Although we don't know her very well, we are sure her quiet, unassuming manner must mean something. Whatever she wants she is sure to attain. D. WEBSTER BLOOM This handsome red head is our drummer in the band. He's on the right beat in other things too-es- pecially in dancing and girls. He'd like to go into the Army after school, but he'd also like to sleep for a few months. Better make up your mind, Web. JANE BOOTH Don't let this girl's shy, retiring manner fool you, for this is only one side of her pleasing personality. Jane's favorite hobby and means of recreation is bowling, and can this lass bowl 'em over! ROBERT LEWIS BOSTON Bob is one of our very active sen- iors. A member of the Rifle Club, Cheerine' Squad, and a lead in the Senior Play are a part of his extra curriculum. He hopes to go to Bucknell and if he is half as good there and contributes as much, they have a really fine student. ROBERT WARREN BROWN This handsome young man is defin- itely one of the socialites of the class. The Air Corps holds special interests for him. If he can't pilot an airplane, he will do the next best, and be a daring bus driver. THOMAS MARTIN BROWN They say good things come in small packages, but here's the exception. Tom's 6 feet 2 inches make him about the tallest boy in our class. He's very amiable and is headed to- ward a college career. Opportunity awaits you, Tom. WILM A BUCHAN Wilma is one of the few persons who actually hasn't an enemy in the world. She is capable, intelli- gent, popular, and has a certain dash about her that is all her own. She is equally versatile in a home or in a social gathering. CLEMENT JULIUS CERWONKA We don't see as much of this voca- tional as we'd like to-where he keeps himself, no one knows. He collects stamps, so maybe that takes his time. He'll probably do mechanical work after school-good luck, Clem. JOHN JOSEPH CHOKOLA Chick seems mad at the world half the day long. He does have high ambitions-to make lots of money and be a millionaire. His hobbies are target shooting and hunting. So enemies beware! JEANETTE CIESLINSKI This senior lass may seem quiet and backward when one first gets to know her. But after knowing her, we find she really can give life to any dull time. Things will be dif- ferent without Jeanette,

WA LTER CHARLES DEROLF This lad would be quite a playboy if he had a chance. He uses up some of his excess exuberance in the gym, which, he says, is the only good thing about school. That's a pretty strong statement, from such an easygoing fellow. RUTH ESTELLE DEVLIN Ruth, the girl with the golden voice, has a charming personality and is well liked by all. Hobby, musicg ambition, to study music, and wouldn't we be surprised and proud to find her in the Metropolitan some day 'T LEWIS FREDERICK DIXON Lewis always looks a bit sleepy, but really has plenty of ambition. He is active in school activities, and spends his leisure time at his girl's house, and hunting and fishing. He hopes to be an engineer, and we know he'll be a success. ALVIN RAYMOND DUNGEY Dunj has quite a few likes. His favorites are sleeping, Rifie Club, electric shop, and mathematics. In- cidentally, his hobby is playing the radio. His future is going to be planned by Uncle Sam. M A RGARET .I EA N EUR HART Peggy is vice-president of our Com- mercial Club, and likes to type. She's everybody's friend, and loves to visit people. You'd make a good social or office worker. You're well qualified for both. Lots of luck to you! MARY JANE EGGLESTON Mary Jane was one of our golden- voiced girls of the sextet. She's la popular gal and full of fun. She is a welcome member to any circle. Something will be noticeably lack- ing when she is gone. MAXINE E. EPSTINE Poet laureate of the senior class, Mac says she spends her time sleeping and meditating. Quite an athlete, she has gathered laurels for her basketball team, and has brought it to success many times. ANN EVANS Ann is an appropriate name for this lass. She's quiet and sweet to all whom she meets. Sewing's her hobby, and she just adores nice parties. Someday when you're using the telephone you'll hear her voice say What number, please Y GEORGE EVANS George is always busy and never has time for loafing. He earned his football letter this year. This modern Einstein is headed for high places. Nothing can stop you when you want something bad enough. DAVID FINKELSTEIN Athletic ability, all scholastic, and an all-round guy make up this out- standing senior. Fink's quiet at times but soon snaps out of it. He showed his athletic ability on the football field, and he's active in the Ushers Club. He plans to go to the University of Pennsylvania and pre- pare for business. Good luck, Dave. RUTH MARY FISHER Modest, cheerful, and friendly, de- scribe Ruth to a UT . When asked her favorite subject, she answered biology . Likewise, Hbiologyl' was the reply for her most disliked sub- ject, Hmm, could this be possible? DONALD RAY FLUEGEL Here is a fellow who really would put Harry James to shame with his trumpet. He is sometimes forget- ful, he is blushable, and he's not much of a business man, but never- theless he is a very able individual.
