Gerk also was on our championship football team which proves his versatility. NI A R I AN F. MA Y Marian is one with ambition. We saw her in Amateur Night, because music is her hobby. When she passes out of Meyers for the last time as a student, she would like to enter a school of nursing. MARY CATHERINE McANDREVV Mary is a quiet ambitious student, whom we would have liked to have heard a lot more about. Her hobby is dancing . . . she is very good at it fmaybe because of practicei. Could be. Ask Mac! JACK FRANCIS McCUE Mac is one of the shy quiet boys of whom we never hear much. Re- gardless of this fact, he is well- liked by all. Uncle Sam has also planned his future, but we wish him the best of every thing. CH A RLEN E J. McDERMU'1 l' Nurses are needed these days and Charlene plans to become one of them . . . her hobby is roller skat- ing . . . makes oil cloth toys in her leisure time . . . likes school for its social activities. She always has a quick kwerp for all questions. Quite a chemistry student. NANCY JANE McGlNLEY Likes school for the fun she has . . . called 'I'ubby by her friends . . . always ready with a friendly smile . . . hobby is horseback riding . . plays the piano in spare time. WILLIAM Mctl li IGAN Handsome Iggy . A member ol' the football team and baseball team. Always in the thick of things. He should go a long way. Now a member of the U. S. Navy. Good sailing, Bill. WILLIAM MEIICR Bill is the happy-go-lucky type. Always smiling, we know his future life will be a success. He can be serious though, as shown by his splendid work on the track team. SHIRLEY TA Y LI DR M ERRI M A N When asked if she had a boy-friend HSl11l'l,, answered with a vigorous yell! Besides him, she likes trying, sports and dancing at the Wheel . Good luck in every thing you do, and we know success will be yours. DOROTH Y M EYERS Dottie is the girl who is seen around the sewing room in her free time. But don't get us wrong, she always helps to liven a party and never refuses a dance. .I EAN ETTE R. M E Y E R S Jenny is a happy, carefree girl, who never worries about anything. When asked what she would like to do if she did not have to think of money she replied live a life of ease . GLORIA DORK ITH Y MILLER Red spends much of her leisure time at the skating rink. Of all the things here at Meyers she likes typing and gym best. After school she intends to work as a telephone operator.

ROBERT QUINTON LAN DIS Everyone knows Dangler . He is quite a lad with the women, and takes an active part in football and baseball. We understand he hold.: the largest collection of nicknames. When asked what they were, he told us to see Mac . ELINOR LANG How about cooking a cake or pic for us, Ellie ? Who is the may- be man? Like many another she wants to go to college next year. Hopes to travel someday. OLIN THOMAS LAWSON A future member of the U. S. Ar- my Air Corps and a present mem- ber of our band. We are going to miss seeing him down in the pit blowing on his sax or clarinet. Good luck! BLANCHE LERNER Blanche spends her leisure time at the Little Theatre and that explains why she would like to take up drama at college. From past ex- perience we know she will come out on top. CAROLYN LEWIS Carolyn likes to sew and does it with a great deal of ability. We think it will come in handy in the future, if you know what we mean. Plays violin in senior orchestra . . . alert and able to master any situation . . . wants to get a car and see the world Qwhat about the ocean?J. JOAN EMILIE LYNCH What a personality! Joan always has time for that friendly, hello. She hopes to be a navy nurse some- day, and judging from her record :nt Meyers we know she will be good at anything. VERNAN .IOHN MALK E M ES Vern hopes for the navy . . . likes hunting and fishing . . . wants to be a pattern-maker . . . sticks up for what he thinks is right . . . is lively and friendly . . . good dancer.

JOHN A DALBERT MILLER Jack , another of our seniors who has left school before graduation. He has gone to college to study law and we know he will be success- ful. Also has a great interest in Wilkes-Barre. 1 wonder who? ?? ROBERT JA MES MITCHELL The army is calling and Mitch is answering the call as soon as school lets out. Trig is his favorite sub- ject . . . he likes all sports and is seen at all of the sporting events Qusually in the gamel, mainly foot- ball and track. Mitch is liked by all and we know he will be a suc- cess. DAVID AARON M ITCH NECK Mitch is another radio man and likes to tinker with them. He hopes some day to open up a business of his own and be financially inde- pendent. We know he will. Good luck. ROBERT STR! PU D MORGAN Bob's hobby is firearms and hunt- ing. There is nothing he would rather do than go out in the woods hunting. Will go into thc armed forces after leaving school . . . likes radio work. How will he put it all into a good future? JAMES MORRASH A good guy and likes by all, Nan- ny is an all around person. After Uncle Sam is through with him he would like to go to college . . . fav- orite subject is math. Ask Mr. McGowan. JOHN MORRASH Johnny is one of the many seniors to leave school and join the armed forces. His choice was Marines and we know he will make a good one. 'Qu ROBERT HOWARD MOSER Bob hopes to own a store some day . . . plans to be a draftsman . . . plays trumpet or French horn in the band . . . likes airplanes . . . is patient, alert and quick . . . also a member of the Army Air Corps. GERALD MUNZING Mum is another one of our boyff who chose the Navy. Good hunt- ing, Gerry. We hope you will he as successful there as you were in school. AILEEN ANNE MURRAY Murph plans on becoming a sec- retary . . . may go to business col- lege. I-Ier special hobby is skating which she does with nar'y a fall. With a little bit of kidding she laughs and turns red. ALFRED GEORGE MUSREY Mus , the clown of the senior class and quite a basketball player. He is the Cagers No. 2 man and has proved himself an able leader. Good in academic work and sports. We know success will be his. ANNA NEWTON Sports interest Nancy a lot and during football and basketball seas- ons she is kept busy coming and cheering. She would like to travel or go to college some day if pos- sible. In twenty years wants a home and a family. FRANCIS NORMAN This fellow was called by Uncle Sam-a good man and a good cause-we admit that-but we are glad he was in our class-a good man to have around.
