ROBERT HELFRICH Twig is one of the boys who left before graduation to do his bit in the army. His readiness to win friends here at Meyers has proven to us that he can get along any- where. Good luck in the service. ALICE CATHERINE HERRON Mr. Richards fofficial home callerl and Shifty know each other well 'I . . . future welder . . . likes to write for McGowan . . . keeps up the 4F's morale . . . fond of skating and dancing . . . all around girl. ROBERT A. HILDEBRAND Chemical engineering is what Bob wants to study after high school. He spends much of his time experi- menting in chemistry and it is his favorite high school subject. He is quick,-gets along with people, and has a good sense of humor . . . wants to be settled with a fine job, many friends and a good life in twenty years. DALE HOFF Quietly imperturbable, he lets noth- ing disturb the even tenor of his ways-of his ways, please remem- ber, and go his way, or forever be left behind. Would even that arouse him 'T ANTHONY JOHN HOGREBE Hoping to do electrical work in tine, Tony has made a good start at it in electric shop. Give him a radio and he can do anything with it. ln spite of all his time spent in electric shop he still finds time for cheerleading and women. JULIEN l-IOLODICK Jule intends to become a nurse after leaving us . . . plays the ac- cordian . . . favorite subject is sociology . . . likes most sports and is one of the team's strongest rooters. SYLVIA HOLTZMAN Essie is always around thc art room. The reason that is her fav- orite pastime. She plans to take up art at school after Meyers. Her other hobby is horticulture. Good luck in the years to come. FULLER HOLVE Y Yes, that tall, well-built, good- looking lad is Fuller. Starring in football and track, he still found time for the women and the Wheel . He recently left for thi- Navy and already has become quite popular as a boxer. Be careful, Mr. Tojo. DONALD LEE HONEYWELL lf you are looking for D. L. and he is not around look hack stagi- where he spends a lot of his free time. Looking into the future, twenty years from now we see a successful engineer. Hy the way, he is already a qualified pilot. Thc Air Corps will be after this lad. RICHARD HORN One of our boys who have already answered Uncle Sam's call, Dick should progress rapidly in the Navy. Dick's personality and friendliness will long be remem- bered at Meyers. JUNE PHYLLIS HUGHES Skeeter would like to go to Cal- ifornia and plans to go to college. She is one of our best girl mathe- maticians. Likes parties and is a good dancer . . . roller skates with the greatest of ease. With all these plans and hobbies, she can't go wrong. MARGARET LO U ISE H UG H ES Margy is the quiet bashful type. ln spite of this she proved her pop- ularity by being chosen vice-presi- dent of the Senior Class. An ex- cellent student, we predict :L very successful future.

FRANCES GIBELMAN Frannie likes everything about school but homework with which a lot of students agree. When Mey- ers is but a memory she will be in a business school. And she will be popular there too. ALBERT CHARLES Gt DDLESRI The iron man of Meyers, that's Al. Besides spending his time in the gym and making all-state guard, Al still finds time to make the honor roll. An all around guy, we predict a successful future. H ELEN JANE GRAY Her name is Gray but they call her Red which isn't hard to figure why once you see her. Shorthand is her favorite subject and she can write those dizzy figures fast enough to make you dizzy. Wants to be a success in some line of work in twenty years and we are all sure she will be. JUNE BARBARA GREGORY Junie's ambition is to become an interior decorator. Her special hobby, as most of you can guess is dancing, but she also likes movies and sports. Her favorite subject is English. DOROTHY MAY GRIFFI'I'HS What Dot likes best about going to school is music and gym classes but somehow she dislikes swim- ming. Her ambition is to be a nurse but she would also like to be an aviatrix. Rest of luck in every thing you do. LOIS JEAN GRIFFI'I'HS l,ois is the one that can always be counted on to be at the dances. She will make good in anything because of her ability to stick with it until her job is done. is HAROLD GRUVER Growler , small in size, but don't let that fool you. Nothing is too tough for him. He always comes up smiling. As manager of track and football, he proved he was ginong the best. Success will be is. RONALD HENRY HAAS Lets make music! Jaseba is an A-1 violin player and intends to make it his living . . . is going to a music conservatory if possibly. . . . wishes there was more time for music is school . . . hopes to play in a symphony orchestra, and have two kids studying the fiddle in twenty years. SHIRLEY MARIE HANKEY Hanks would like to take up nursing. She intends to work in Mercy Hospital after leaving school. She likes a good time and is always in on the fun. Nl ARG A REI' MARIE HA li SL ER Good at day-dreaming but always on the go. Midge is always will- ing to give you her smile twhen you put on the pressurej . . . wants to be a secretary. Ask her about her O.A.O.'? DORIS KATHERINE HA Il'I'Z Doris's ambition is to enter the business world. One thing I warn you about is never to argue with her because in the end you will do what she wants. She is one in a million who does not dislike any- thing about school. JA MES EDWARD HA Y DEN Jim, the brainstorm of' '44. In spite of his straight A report card, he finds time to participate in sports, namely, track and basket- ball, in which he excelled this past year. He is our candidate for thf. one most likely to succeed.

Honor Society, etc. We know you will succeed . . . push along and along. MA URICE JACOBOVITZ When you are with Jake you never know what to expect. That is why he is one of the most pop- ular boys in the class. The life of every party, we know he will go far. DORK DTH Y EILEEN JAM ES One of our liveliest seniors and welcome at any time. Dot, besides being an excellent student, finds time for many social aHairs around school. We predict an early mar- riage for this young lady. Need we say more? RALPH RUNDLE JAYNE Hammer plans to work in his l'ather's store after leaving school. Likes shop work . . . would like lo loaf around the South Sea lslands . . . hopes to be like his father in twenty years. FRANCIS STEPH EN J EN N l NG S Francis, the last of the Jennings boys. He is an outstanding student and liked by everyone. After grad- uation he would like to attend Notre-Dame. We hope you get your wish,-this and other good wishes. CHARLOTTE WILSON Ji DH N S A dreamer and a good sport, l.otty will often give you a friendly blush when kidded. She has the answers if you can get them from her. She likes home- work the least of her school work tdo we blame her'?D. Hopes to be married in twenty years, and we are sure she will be. DOROTHY JEAN JOHNS D. BEVERLY JANE JONES Bev collects samples as a hobby and has quite a collection by now . . . favorite subject is Latin . . . plans to be a nurse. ln twenty years hopes to have her own home. ELISABETH ANN JI DNES A good swimmer and horseback rid- er . . . modeling is what she would like to take up after leaving school . . . favorite subject is English. ln other words Liz is liked by all and a swell person to meet and know. Spends 3X5 of her time at the Wheel . What about the other ZX5? ? 'Z JOSEPH JOHN JONES Joe is one of the boys who did a great deal to bring Meyers her vic- tories on the basketball court. He is certainly an industrious lad for his favorite subject is math.
