throp for a return concert November 25 The students enjoy these concerts because they provide an opportunity to make new friends and to renew old friendships The glee club made arrangements to have a combmed choral concert with Ed ward Little High of Auburn Edward Little came to Mexico March 7 and the Mexico combined glee club presented the return concert March 15 The band made a trip out of State for the first time this year The band from Marblehead Senior High School of Marble concert with the Mexico band March 22 The band members were overnight guests in the homes of the Mexico students The Mexico band went to Marblehead for a concert April 19 This was also an over night stay Augusta was the host city for the All State Music Festival which was held April 8 9 IO and 11 Both an afternoon and an evening concert were presented April ll A large number of students from Mexico took part in the Festival A Pop Concert featuring the band and glee clubs as well as the junior band was presented in April The program was a full one and the students enjoyed doing the concert for the townspeople Due to the great number of schools Festival the Music Educators Association decrded to d1v1de the number equally in two this year The MEXICO groups at tended the Festlval at Bath May 10 This was a perfect endmg for the activities of the music department PINTO PATTER STAFF nv-N lv- ' head, Massachusetts, presented a combined which take part in the annual Audition v T l 2 28
