With humble and grateful hearts we leave the school which has meant so much to us. We leave the teachers who have done so much for us We leave the community which has been the center of our youthful experiences Some of us will continue our studies others will go to work still others will enter the service of our country However whatever we do and wherever we go we shall not forget this community or this school These memories will always remain among our most cherished posses sions The education we have received here will serve as a guidepost throughout our lives So with grateful hearts and enlightened minds we say farewell but not good bye We the Sen1orClass of 1958 invite you to leaf through the pages of this book and enjoy through picture and story the life we have lead for the past four years As you do this we want you to know that we realize the memories stored in this annual were made possible by your efforts We thank the tax paying public for the physical as pects of our education We thank the com munity for its constructive attitude towards the learning process and the Board of Edu cation for their untiring efforts to interpret the desires of the community into concrete being We tha.nk the teachers and adminis tration for being a constant source of in spiration and for giving so freely of them selves far in excess of their duty Lastly we thank our parents who have encouraged us and helped us struggle through those 'stiff assignments and rough classes In return for all of this we can only offer our gratitude andthe hope that we will per petuate these ideals which you have given us 14 SALUTATORIAN SHIRLEY ANN DEXTER . .
