year in the fall of 1901 we elected Evadna Ives as pr sldent and Donna Wright Judith Gibson Shirley Adams Sandra Sutliff Frank Mannise Robert Nichols and Robert Zieske as advisors and delegates to the Junior Student Council Many of our members were actlve in band and chorus with Martha Dunn and Leonard Smlth going to All State for chorus and Donna Wright and Marcia DeLong representing the band Our ath letes both boys and girls partlcipated in intramurals and freshman boys basketball We dis covered that we had som excellent actors and actresses 1n our midst when we took first prize in the annual one act play contest with our play Apple for Teacher under the direction of Mr John Gokey Beginning our second t rm we find John Francis as president with John Grlfhng Rob ert Carp and J1m Pierce as advisors and Carol Williams Shirley Adams and Frank Mannlse as Senior Student Council delegates We sponsored our nrst dance the Harvest Hop Our athlet s again represented us in the various school sports In the one act play contest we saw the play Mad Breakfast again under the direction of Mr Gokey bring us second prize Our musicians and singers continued their activities in band and at the
