CLASS OF 1955 HISTORY OF THE CLASS OF '55 The Senior corridor first echoed to our tread in the fall of 1951. Our class ofhcers were Evadna Ives, Donna Wright, Sandra Sutliff, judith Gibson, Shirley Adams, Frank Mannise, Robert Zieske, and Robert Nichols. We won the three one-act play contest with our play, An Apple for the Teacher. john Holbrook, Bill Meeks, jim Davies. Sherman Kennedy, justin Backus, Leonard Smith, and jim Pierce played freshman basketball. Many of us tootled in the band or trilled in chorus. Marcia DeLong and Donna Wright played in All-State Band while Martha Dunn and Leonard Smith sang in the All-State Chorus. During our sophomore year we elected john Francis, john Griffmg, Robert Carp, and jim Pierce as officers. We sponsored our first dance, the Harvest Hop.
