else about it. As they studied the picture more closely, they saw James Walkupf Everyone scrambled for the paper to see what he was doing. They soon learned that James was Queen Elizabeth's bodyguard and he would receive half of what she owned when she died. So of course, Jim is sticking by her very closely. After Sanford had become the king, Jim worked under him for awhile. The queen adored Jim so, she wanted him to become her bodyguard. As Shirley and Donnie were talking, Shirley said that she ran into Helen Eddy the other day while in Chicago. Of course, Donnie wondered what in the world Helen was doing in Chicago. He had been stationed in Chicago and didn't know she was there. Helen is traveling with the Ringling Brothers' Circus . She is one of the most famous trapeze artists. She has had op- portunity to sign many contracts. Senior Class Colors .... . . . . . Gold and Purple Flower ...... . . . . . . White Carnation Motto . . . Senior Class Prophecy As we start our little journey together we find General Donald Robert Dirr! He has served in the Air Force for nearly fifteen years and has made a wonderful suc- cess. We find him preparing to return to Metz, Indiana, to invite his classmates to his wedding. He took the plane from Chicago where he was stationed, and landed at the Metz Airport which was quite large at this time. Before his private pilot landed the plane, he saw someone familiar. When he got off the plane he noticed it was June Winters. They were very thrilled and happy to see each other. Donnie asked June what she was doing at the airport. June's reply was a very surprising answer. She said that she was going to be married the first of February to Stalin. Donnie was quite dazed about this for quite some time. After awhile he learned from different people that Stalin had promised that if June married him the war and the war affairs would be all over by the last of May. June had accepted. After Donnie had recovered from that shock he asked where the rest of his schoolmates had wandered to. She didn't know for sure, but she thought some of them had gone West. Donnie said good-bye and good luck, and got back into his plane. He didn't see any use staying in Metz if no more classmates were around. He started towards California in hopes that he would get all of his business done before his furlough was over. That meant he had given up hopes of seeing the rest of his classmates. As he started for California, Donnie thought he would like to see some country, so he stopped in Oregon. While roaming around over the country, he saw a cute little curly-headed boy out in a ditch. As he stopped to investigate what the little boy was doing, he learned that the boy's dog had been run over, and the little boy was crying. Donnie picked up the dog and little boy and started towards the house where he saw a man coming towards them and realized it was James Stultz. After that the dog was forgotten. Donnie learned that Jim, his wife, Cora Sue, and their child, James Jr., had just moved to Oregon about a year ago. While they were talk- ing about this and that, Donnie asked if any of his classmates had made a real success in life. Jim said he didn't know for sure unless it would be Shirley Mote. She is taking the place of Elizabeth Taylor. Shirley has made around twelve movies and is ready to begin another one. Jim didn't know where they were going to do this picture, but he knew they wouldn't begin for another two or three weeks. As Donnie said good- bye and good luck, he headed for California. When he arrived he headed straight for the M. G. M. Studio. To his surprise he found three of his classmates there instead of just oneg Shirley was a great actress, Alice Williams was Shirley's gown designer and one of Ho1lywood's greatest designers in years, and Jim Eyster was photographer for M. G. M. Donnie supposed that Jim would be married and raising his family by now, but Jim said that he wanted a couple million dollars before he settled down. As they were talking, Jim said that he had received a letter from Paul Oliver the other day. Donnie then learned that Paul had become the heavyweight champion of the world. Donnie then asked what had happened to little Gloria Musser. Everyone started laughing until most of them were crying. After he got them quieted down he learned that Gloria married a bullfighter. Donnie didn't see anything funny about that, but later he learned that Gloria's husband was teaching her how to be a bullfighter also. From the stadium she looked just like a puppet. As they went on talking about those good old days, they recalled some of the things that happened and how they used to skip school. They were all sitting around the studio, slouched in the chairs as if they never had any bringing up Alice then picke ,up the newspaper and yelled. They all jumped as if a bomb had gone off, and ran ov 'fi to Alice to see what in the world was the matter. She couldn't talk. All she could do was to sit there and point at the paper. There it was! Sanford Porter had become King of England. No one knew how he became king or anything
