I ,za AJUNICDR--SEN1OR TRIP v l SATURDAY, MAY 7 X The Juniors decided to entertain the Seniors and ' ' p' vf p Faculty with a trip this year, instead of the fl usual banquet. After much discussion, Bagnal Dam 'ef v b ut ' was chosen as the destination. It is only a o one hundred forty miles distant, and most of the students had never been there. A TheeRich Hill School bus, driven by Mr. Lloyd Peterson, was hired for the occasion. We met at thewhigh school at five A.M. However, due to rain we were an hour late in starting. By the time' we reached Eldorado Springs, everyone was ravenously hungry, so we stopped and cooked breakfast in the park. Oranges, bacon and eggs, with bread and butter seemed especially appetizing after our 'ride. we resumed the trip about nine o'clock and reached the dam about noon. Upon our arrival, each person was allowed to pur- sue his own interests. Some of us took pictures some went motor and row boating, and some went for walks, enjoying the beauty of 'the Lake and the Ozarks. The high point of the day came about six o'clock, when the entire group went on a tour of the Power Plant. A guide gave info ,tive lectures at different points.- H we started home at six thirty, going by a differ- ent route, highway 52. Some of the towns where we stopped were Windsor, Cole Camp and Appleton City. We arrived in Metz at eleven P.M. having traveled two hundred ninety seven miles. We were a tired, but happy crew, resolving to go again another year. CLASS FLOWER CLASS COLORS CLASS MOTTO
