Its purpose is to creat 11 extend throughout flic school and community high standards of acter. The slogan is the 4 C’s; clean speech, clean athletics, clean e, maintain, and Christian Char-scholarship, and clean living. The Hi-Y Club was organized in this school during the school year 1928-29, and has continued to be a strong factor ever since. Membership in this club is drawn from Junior and Senior boys. In December the entire Hi-Y Club attended the Older Boys’ Conference at Car-bondale. This was an outstanding event, the highlights of which were the banquet and the talks given by Mr. ft. 0. Wolcott, widely known boys' speaker. The Tli- has sponsored this past year a food sale and show. They also printed the programs for the District Basketball Tournament. I‘aye 20
