Her radiant personality has gained her many friends. Fudgie is a great booster and appears at most of our games and school events. No matter what career she chooses, we know that she will continue to make new friends. A sparkling personality like her ' s is difficult to find. Her beam- ing smile and contagious spirit of friendliness have made her so well like by everyone. As for the future, Mai plans a career as an airline hostess. Best of luck to a girl who de- serves the best that life can offer. BEATRICE DiLAVORE Forever temporate, calm, and wise Usherette at Commencement Exercises Italian Club 3; Sec. 4 Senior Play Committee Class-day Pageant Even though Bea is small in stature, she possesses an enormous heart of gold. She is always willing to help any- one at anytime. Her big, brown eyes are as warm and friendly as her disposition. Bea will never lack friendship, as she is a true friend herself. DONOVAN Be hdppy-go-!uc (v Football 3, 4 Basketball 2, 4 Track 2, 3, 4 Jack ' s snappy shirts and ties have won him the reputation of being a sporty dresser. His cheery smile and keen sense of humor have made him the unofficial class Blues Chaser . He has the faculty of making friends of all those who come in contact with him. Jack ' s love for his fellow man will stand him in good stead, no matter what line of work he finally picks. EDMUND F. DOWD Nothing ever worries me Boys ' State 3 Basketball 4 Track 3, 4 Color Guard 3, 4 Senior Play Eddie is a most capable student. His wit keeps his classmates constantly chuckling. His performance of Lachie in the Sen- ior Play was one that will never be forgotten by those who witnessed it. It seems almost a sure bet that he will succeed in his ambition of being an electrical engineer. CALVIN G. DOWNS Modest but merry Year Book Staff Calvin is a quiet, studious, well-dressed person. His quick smile and broad sense of humor have made him very popular. He never seems to be too busy to find time to help a pal. We hope that Calvin goes straight to the top in whatever field he chooses for his life ' s work. 22

Always smiling, Ruth ' s personality and willing- ness to help have made her popular with everyone. Ruthie attends almost all of the school functions, and her school spirit is unequalled. May you always stay just as you are, Ruthie. JANE GARFI Girls ' A. A. 4 Jane did not come here until this year, but in that short time she has made many friends. Good looks, coupled with a sparkling personality make Jane an all-round person. Her frank, concise remarks have brought laughter more than once, although she docs not think them humorous.
