M IIS THE CLASS POEM BEYOND GRADUATION DAY A hush has fallen over the crowd As the names are called both clear and loud, The happy faces depict the scene Of what a graduation can mean. To some, it means that life ' s begun; To others, it means the fight ' s half won. College or work runs through every mind As we leave our friends and teachers behind. By Courage and Faith we ' ll strive for our aim- To reach the summit an d taste of fame. With God beside us, our strength and stay, We ' ll walk with courage this untried way. —JOAN WALSH
