We leave our source of knowledge, But still have more to learn. head there lies our future; Who knows what it may hold? One thing alone is certain: A new world we must mold. We ' re leaving Searles to enter A seething world at war, To do our part in winning The peace we ' re fighting for. Our high school days together We never shall forget; Forever we ' ll remember The friends that here we ' ve met.
