The Methodist College Chapter of the Student Education Association exists to provide opportunities for prospective teachers to develop leadership skills and to become ac- quainted with the history, ethics, and programs of pro- professional teacher organizations. Its members join in a movement with other educators to improve themselves as teachers, to raise professional standards and to better the schools of the state and nation. This year members have taken an active part in the local school system by volun- teering their services as aides at the Day Care Center for Retarded Children and at the Hillsboro Street School.
