Wansley Records ond Periodi cols Librarian The LIBRARY shares the center of the campus with the Yorborough Bell Tower and has experienced almost phenomenal growth. lt is also the center of intellectual stimulation. Newly occupied in November of l96Li, it has increased its book ac- quisition past the 25,000 volume mark and is swiftly approach- the figure of 30,000 volumes. Expansion has been in every di- rection: increase in circulation books, reference books, periodicals, records, and a newly-acquired microfilm reader. I-X reserve book area, new book room, curriculum laboratory and period- ical area have been set up for student interestand conven- ience. The conference room in the basement is used for seminar-type classes, faculty conferences, smallimeetings, and student government meetings. The main floor of the rves as an area for student-faculty art exhibits, including such attractions as pink elephants, bloCl4 Grid orange mobiles, and interesting cultural displays.
