The STUDENT EDUCATION ASSOCIATION, Methodist College Chapter, exists to provide opportunities for prospective teachers to develop leadership skills and to become acquainted with the history, ethics, and programs ot professional teacher organiza- tions. lts members ioin in a movement with other educators to improve themselves as teachers, to raise professional stan- dards and to better the schools of the state and nation. Monthly meetings, open to all prospective teachers, sponsor a speaker as the program. H7

The CLUB COORDINATING COUNCIL consists ot the presidents ot all campus clubs, dormitories, ond classes along with the president ond vice-president of the Student Government Association. lts purpose is to coordinate the activities of oll these organizations, enabling them to be ot mutual assistance to each other. This post year, the Council has sponsored the Homecoming Weekend with many ot the individual clubs performing vorious tasks pertaining to the Homecoming events. The Council hos also been used by the S.G.A. president as o sounding board tor many ot his ideas ond a vehicle for discovering what the Association members, the Methodist College student body, have hoped to see their Student Government accomplish. lt was through this mutual assistance that all campus organizations have been able to make more progress and to broaden their area of contact.
