TCL fat The musical portion of the program con- sisted of a piano solo by Miss Margaret lleaney, . . v , '59, and a flute solo by Miss Beja Noland, 61. The program then swung into the familiar round of short responses from the representatives of the reunion classes. ln order, responses by the class speakers were given by Miss Grace Lahre, '29, who was also adviser to the 1939 class, Mrs. Earl Parker, Clrene Lord, '39j Rich- ardson, Texas, and Mrs. Keith Low, tSlz4Qrley Jacobson, V195 Lexington, Nebraska. The 1929 class announced that they had established a memorial fund in memory of their deceased classmates. This has been set aside to be held in trust. The dinner ended with the singing of the school songs. Following the conclusion of the dinner was the dance to which the seniors and their escorts were invited. At class parties on Friday evening and class breakfasts on Saturday morning, the reunion groups were entertained at the homes of class members who live in Rochester. Attendance records for the reunions show the following totals: 1929 - 34, 1939 - 17, and 1949 - 23. A letter received from one of the reunionites summarized the annual alumni activities in this way. Wle quote in part: I will not try to describe my joy at the opportunity of partici- pating in the alumni reunion of 1959 In ad- dition to the well-planned activities there was evidence of something more-an enthusiasm and sparkle. All alumni should be proud of the philosophy which prevails and the progress which is in evidence at their alma mater. The pleasant greetings and happy chatter will long remain in our memories. Wle all agreed this was fun and we vowed to return again in hopes that even more of our classmates will join us.
