Huser. og raricuw The library was formerly housed in what is now Mr. Brown's office. The new library was originally the home economics room. Library procedures are different because of the new physical condition and the new schedule for study rooms. Tables in the last half of the room seat 30 students who check in with their study room teachers for one period or an alternating schedule. It is necessary for a student to use the card catalog and fill out call slips before checking out books. The permanent reference books are in the south section of the reading room. Current magazines are easily accessible to the casual reader, and a reserve section is also in operation. Librarians are chosen on the basis of scholarship, integrity, accuracy, and inte rest in books. Miss Helton is in charge of the library and has twenty-five librarians. Compliments of THE.
