Servants The final act: the curtain falls Upon the Messmer lives Of these, our graduates. This book, the story of their lives In school. Their pictures here, a record of Activities, the 'roles They played as Seniors, all In tales of clubs, Athletics, academic work. A retrospect of years of striving, Crowned with earned success. A story, too, of Messmer High- These graduates with choices manifold In Science, English, Art. And Business, Mathematics, strong, Will leave these cherished halls Prepared for their careers. A varied program in humanities Befell their lot, if they but showed The skill and will to brave such task. And when a weakness showed. The kindly aid of faculty, Well trained in guidance, lifted them To new ambitions, won results. And they were challenged, too, And, as they met the challenges, Found growth to wing them on The way to fame.
